Iran’s ‘The Garden’ wins award at Southeast Regional filmfest

Iranian short title ‘The Garden’ has won an award at the 4th edition of the Southeast Regional Film Festival in the US.

The short film received the second prize at the short animation category of the US event.

Directed by Amir-Hossein Riahi, ‘The Garden’ narrates the story of a man who lives with a conflict in his stomach that is the opposition of reason and emotion.

The short animation has attended the 6th Tlanchana Fest in Mexico and will also compete at the 2020 BeBop Channel Content Festival in the US.

The ending ceremony of the 4th Southeast Regional Film Festival was held on May 31, 2020.

Iranian short film ‘Trophy’ had also won a nomination at the 2020 Southeast event.
